Dolls Helping Dolls
As you may not know, we have a very close knit group of women who all enjoy creating dolls. We may not know each other personally but the care and compassion we have for each other is one of a kind!! I am so proud of these gals that have stepped up and said "what can we do to help?"
This is a plea for help. Our dear friend and fellow doll maker has just found out that she has cancer. Unfortunately she does not have medical insurance. We want to help her in any way that we can. This is "Cookie" by Elaine Campbell. Cookie is 100% porcelain and stands 20"-21" tall. She is wearing a beautiful lavender organza dress with another skirt under the organza which is purple. She also has a slip and panties. She has a pair of white lace socks and white shoes. Cookie's wig is dark brown and curly. Her eyes are a beautiful lavender color to match her dress with beautiful eyelashes.

This is a girl bear by Duncan molds. Poor thing has no name....but if she pulls at your heart strings, you will be able to give a beautiful name. This girl bear doll is made from ceramic. We had a dry brushing workshop and "C" decided that she would donate girl bear to our cause. Girl bear stands at 15 1/2" tall. She has a cloth body and is wearing an off white knit sweater and a glitter denim skirt with gray and black leggings. Girl bear's eyes are lavender.

This is Sweet Thing by Elaine Campbell. She sits at 10". She can not stand. The way her legs are put on allows her to sit only. Her head, hands and feet are porcelain. This cutie has a short curly dark brown wig and beautiful brown glass eyes with human eyelashes. She has a cloth body and is filled with pellets so that she is weighted in the seat so that she will keep seated. She is wearing a white christening dress and has a full length slip and panties and of course a bonnet.

This is 19" "Bunny" By Elaine Campbell. She was made by one of my students to donate for the drawing. "RD" did a wonderful job on her. Bunny's outfit is a cotton nighty with a mop cap. Her hair is auburn. She has a cloth body. Her head, hands, and legs are porcelain.

She is wearing a beautiful aqua satin gown with black fringe around the neck, on the fringe there are small aqua rinestones that go all the way around. Also black lace round the bottom of her dress. Her hair is dark brown and is a gibson style wig. She is also wearing gold leaf earings.

This is a sweet 19" Zapf Creations Chou Chou play doll. These dolls are known for their cuddly, realistic feel. She/He is from an adult collection and has never been played with.
